What can I say... Italy is simply beautiful... and Cinque Terre is definitely a great place for a romantic surprise :-)
Milan April 2008
Dubai April 2008
Here is our residence on its way to get completed...hopefully by June 2008. I'd say there on-track.
The first image is from the Jumeirah beach front (sea view), whilst our appartment will be on the other side, Marina view.
Here the view from the Marina. We're on the 10th floor, second long balcony, counting from the ground up.
We're on that corner, with partial sea view from the side.
And this is the main view of the Marina... they still have quite a bit to build.
And for a Friday afternoon lunch and relaxation after a tough week, right next to us is the Sheraton Beach Resort, which offers an enjoyable atmosphere... nice!

Dubai Burj Al Arab
Our first days in Dubai... a full inclusive total experience! Thanks Daniel for hosting our first week :-) Thanks again.
Dubai Marina, the finished and constructed side of the Marina.
... and the side still under construction. that's where all these cranes are!
The Medinat, with its either quiet and relaxing terrasses, or the busy pubs where you can drink and dance all night.
A beautiful iranian mosq
The creek, cruising through the old town, with it souks (local markets).
...and the expatriates souk :-) And it is great since you can have your good old french camembert!!
Here is the famous Bur Dubai tower, the highest in the world (at least for now).
And the other famous highlight being the indoor skiing slopes. It is true!!
Nothing better than a nice champagne brunch to end the frenetic week on friday.
Before watching the sunset from the 360 bar located on the sea.

Dubai Marina (our residence)
Here is the building in which our appartment will be located. On the 10th floor, on the corner towards the sea.
Marina view in the front and sea from the side, from our bedroom. Should be nice, at least untill another building comes next to us...
Or the view from Daniel's place, it is the little building on the left with the crane.
